Install and open
A short onboarding asks which countries and cities you've already been to, so your map isn't empty on day one.
Check in as you go
Tap a country on the map or search a city. Add the places worth remembering, with dates, notes and photos.
Watch it add up
Stamps, statistics per continent and a timeline of your trips — all built from the check-ins you already made.
Backup when you want it
Signing in with Google is optional. Turn it on and your travel history restores on a new phone; leave it off and nothing leaves the device.
No selling your trips
We don't sell personal data. Ads in the free version are served by Google AdMob, with a consent form where the law requires one — details in the privacy policy.

Questions people actually ask
Is SandaMap free?
Yes. The app is free to download and use. An optional supporter subscription unlocks extra features and removes ads — cancel any time in Google Play.
Does it work offline?
Yes. Your map, statistics and saved places are stored on the device, so you can open and update them with no internet connection. Only cloud backup and fresh map tiles need a network.
Do I need an account?
No. You can use the whole app without signing in. Google sign-in exists only if you want your travel data backed up and restorable on another device.
Is there an iPhone version?
Not yet — SandaMap is currently an Android app and needs Android 7.0 or newer. If an iOS version happens, it will be announced here.
How do I move my map to a new phone?
Sign in with Google on the old phone so the backup runs, then sign in with the same account on the new one. Countries, cities, places and stamps restore automatically.
If you never signed in, the data lived only on that device and can't be recovered after uninstalling.
How do I delete my data?
Open Profile → Delete account to erase your cloud data permanently. You can also email sandamapapp@gmail.com from the address linked to your account and we'll remove it within 30 days.
